Led by Minnesota Department of Transportation, this project focused on communicating with and preparing communities for a four-year construction project on a 2.5-mile stretch of I-35W just south of Minneapolis.

OUR ROLE

The Zan team was responsible for engaging the public about the project's impacts and benefits, and how to stay informed during construction. We focused on using a variety of outreach methods to reach as many people as possible - these included attending community festivals and events, door-to-door outreach, and pop-ups at local hot spots. Zan Associates also provided communications during the conceptual deisgn phase of the project and is currently providing community engagement services for the construction phase of 35W@94: Downtown to Crosstown.
