Emma is an engagement specialist at Zan Associates, supporting both the project delivery and marketing teams. With a background in social science research, communications, and digital production, she brings experience spanning city government, museums, video production, and higher education—with skills creating content for and engaging with a range of audiences.

A semester abroad in Copenhagen, studying strategies for urban livability, sparked a deep interest in public engagement and the role planning plays in building vibrant, connected communities. What she loves most about engagement is the opportunity to elevate people's voices in decision-making processes, and learn more about the communities she works in. She enjoys nerding out about third places, and can be most often found asking you to smile for the camera.
