2013-2015
Zan Associates served as the construction contractor's public involvement coordinator for the St. Croix River Crossing approach work on the Minnesota side of the River. Additionally, Zan provided similar services for the contractor for the construction of the bridge piers. Project activities included:

Preparing weekly construction updates and maps illustrating upcoming construction activities

Working with businesses and the contractor to develop and implement access plans

Working with businesses, property owners, and the contractor to address problems with they arose during construction

Preparing special maps and communication pieces to assist business owners in communicating with their customers

Coordinating and attending public meetings and assisting MnDOT in staffing special events such as county fairs, community events, festivals, etc.

Tracking and responding to all comments received about the construction work

Coordinating with MnDOT, other agencies, the contractor and sub-contractor to address all issues and respond to any emergencies

Participate in construction, maintenance of traffic and communications team meetings

Preparing and implementing a communications plan
