Zan Associates was part of the consultant team that completed a transit study for the West Broadway Corridor which runs from downtown Minneapolis, along Washington Avenue/2nd Avenue South, and West Broadway to Robbinsdale. This study included the evaluation of arterial BRT between downtown Minneapolis and downtown Robbinsdale, and streetcar between downtown Minneapolis and North Memorial Hospital. The Zan Associates team was responsible for coordinating all public outreach activities for the project. Responsibilities included organizing and attending public meetings including a movie theater premier event, pop-up events at local festivals, and on-street engagement at bus stops and other popular locations; creating display materials such as posters and meeting announcements; and providing support for electronic communications including a project video, website and social media sites.
